Privacy Policy

We're a small, home-based breeding program, not a data company. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect through this website and what we do — and don't do — with it.

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE — TO BE SET AT LAUNCH]

What we collect

Information you give us directly.

When you fill out our application form or contact us through the site, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, city or ZIP, the puppy or line you're interested in, household details, and any message you write to us. We don't collect anything beyond what you submit, and we don't require an account to browse the site or view available puppies.

How we use it

To talk with you about a puppy — nothing more.

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate your application, manage our waitlist, and — if you've opted in — notify you about upcoming litters or availability. If you become a Maison de Brume family, we keep your information on file to support the relationship for the life of your dog, consistent with the lifetime support and right-of-first-refusal commitments in our contract.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information. Ever.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes — full stop. We don't run advertising trackers or build ad-targeting profiles on visitors. Any analytics we use are limited to basic, aggregate traffic patterns (for example, how many people visited a page), not individual tracking across other sites.

Who else sees it

The few services that help us run this site.

A small number of third-party services process data on our behalf so this site and our business can function:

  • Formspree — processes form submissions from this website and delivers them to us by email.
  • pplx.app (Perplexity) — hosts this website.
  • Stripe — may be used to process payments related to a puppy purchase, if you choose that payment method.
  • Good Dog — may be used to process applications or payments if you reach us through that platform.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data that passes through their systems. We only share what's necessary for them to perform their function for us.

How long we keep it

As long as it serves the relationship.

We retain your information for as long as it's useful to our relationship with you — while your application is active, while you're on a waitlist, and for the life of your dog if you become a Maison de Brume family, since our contract commitments (health guarantee, lifetime right of first refusal) require us to be reachable and to have your records on hand. If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, see "Your rights" below.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete or share what we have.

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email us at hello@maisondebrumebulldogs.com and we'll respond promptly. The one exception is information we're required to retain for an active puppy contract or health guarantee — we'll let you know if that applies and explain why.

Cookies

Only what's strictly necessary.

This site currently uses only strictly necessary cookies — the kind needed for basic site functionality, like remembering that you closed a mobile menu. We are not currently running third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics tools that use cookies, we'll update this policy to disclose them before they go live.

Questions
